As a young yet determined company, QHRD MANAGEMENT CONSULTANTS has established two Company’s Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes that it shall carry out in 2012
N0: 1) QHRD is a supporter and assisting the team of this Non-Profit Organization called “Novels for Nepal”
The organization is a group of young adults in Melbourne, Australia and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It aims to raise AU$ 15,000 by May 2012 to build a school library for the Lower Buddha Secondary School in the rural village of Yalbang, Nepal..
. The village is a few days hike from the nearest city, but international NGOs have been providing small tools to instil the value of education in the villagers and their children. The result is approximately 168 students who have the option of pursuing a better life by means of education. The building of the library will further assist in the developing of interest in studying and to help decrease the drop-out rate of the school.
The organization currently collects softly used books which they sell at various bazaars. For more information, or to donate time, energy, books or money, please visit http://novelsfornepal.org.
Note : They have plans for their next project upon successful completion of the above .
No: 2) Promoting the JAPANESE 5S (BEST CLEANLINESS & HOUSEKEEPING PRACTICES) - To our MALAYSIAN LOWER SECONDARY SCHOOLS ( will now start only in December 2012 - as we are still awating consent from our Ministry of Education). We recommend to begin at 2 schools each month and this training will last approximately 3 hours per session.
❶ Why? 5S is a Japanese system, well studied and is a basic disciplining methodology to ensure good
habits and practices are achieved through individual or team efforts using the Plan, Do, Check &
Action (PDCA) methodology. It is good to start these habits while children are young so that good
habits and practices will prevail at their schools and at their homes !
❷ Objectives: a) Create a sense of awareness and appreciation of what the 5S system can change
students’ habits and self-discipline, & b) Getting them to practice 5S at their schools and at their
homes. Presently, individuals only undergo similar training once they have entered the working
environment and as such training is rather “late” at this point.
